quoteWe have never been to this restaurant before, but chose it because of its gluten free menu. I am happy to say that for the first time I wasn't sick after eating a supposed gluten free meal. The food was beautiful and the service fantastic. We were a group of nine and everyone was happy and no one left still hungry as portion sizes were perfect. I would highly recommend this restaurant, it was relaxing and enjoyable.

Even though gluten containing foods are prepared & cooked in the same area, there is a separate vat for cooking gluten free food & the staff were really helpful & knowledgeable regarding ingredients and cross- contamination. I would have no hesitation in recommending Cafe Hasan Baba to people with Coeliac Disease or a gluten intolerance - we really enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back again next time we are in Tauranga.
